Yingqi Wang is an internationally active pianist and music educator. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln's Glenn Korff School of Music, where she studied under Dr. Paul Barnes. Her doctoral document, The Integration of Western Compositional Techniques and Traditional Chinese Folk Music in Piano Works of Jianzhong Wang, reflects her ongoing interest in cross-cultural musical synthesis.

Yingqi earned her Master of Music in Piano Performance from Syracuse University's Setnor School of Music, where she studied with Prof. Steven Heyman and Dr. Fred Karpoff. As a soloist, she has presented numerous solo recitals, chamber recitals, and lecture-recitals across the United States, China, and Europe, including performances as part of the Summer Piano Institute in Greece.

As a collaborative pianist, Yingqi has extensive experience with choirs, musicals, and Broadway productions. Recent engagements include performing for Beauty and the Beast: The Broadway Musical, accompanying a wide range of show choir performances, the Candlelight Gala, and concerts with orchestra and chamber ensembles. She also collaborates regularly with instrumentalists and vocalists in series such as the ChamberFest Concert Series.

Her artistry has been recognized with awards including the Gold Award at the Beijing Mozart International Youth Piano Competition (2017) and Third Prize at the Tiangong Music Award, Piano Category, Professional Group (2016).
